Inventory API (read this first)

If Insomnia shows this HTML page for POST …/api/transfer/create, the request is not hitting this app’s API: wrong scheme, host, port, or path, or another Laravel (or other) server on that address.

Check (source of truth for the base URL): GET http://api.wis.jaclinerapps.com/api/ping — response must be JSON with "ok": true. Use that same origin (scheme, host, and port) for every API call.

Create transfers: POST http://api.wis.jaclinerapps.com/api/transfer with header Authorization: Bearer <API_TOKEN> (from .env) and JSON body (e.g. transfer_no, from_branch, to_branch).

All /api/* routes return JSON (errors included) even if your client omits Accept: application/json, and responses use Connection: close to avoid keep-alive issues with some API clients and php artisan serve. If an API tool still reports socket hang up or ECONNRESET / read ECONNRESET, the server may still be replying: use the same URL as ping, send a real JSON body with Content-Type: application/json, try 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost, disable proxy/Agent, compare with curl -v, or inspect storage/logs/laravel.log.

This deployment is API-only. There is no web UI for transfers above.
